![]() You can dial down Sunco’s Vintage LED Edison bulbs to as low as 10 percent of their full 800-lumen brightness. Light Type: LED | Watts: 15 | Usage: Outdoor | Light Color: Warm white | Smart Features: Noĭimmable bulbs are great if you’re looking to quickly and simply change the ambiance of your yard. ![]() Just note that the motion sensor's sensitivity can be temperamental. These bulbs are the easiest outdoor light bulbs to install and set up on this list. The light will then turn off and disable the motion-sensing features at dawn before turning them back on at dusk. Once the motion sensor activates, the light will stay on for five minutes. To the point where the LED offering has caught up with the best of what halogen could offer," says Levene.įitted into each bulb are a motion sensor and a photocell sensor. The latter is old technology and although LED lamps had some teething problems, in terms of dimmability and quality of light, the LED industry has made significant improvements in the last few years. “You should always opt for LED lamps over halogen lamps. While 1300 lumens is bright enough for floodlights, the warm white light from these bulbs is soft, which somewhat dulls the impact. They’re also more energy-efficient-offering the equivalent of 90-watts for just 15-watts. They are the same size and shape as PAR38 Halogen Floodlight bulbs, meaning they easily replace existing setups. These 1300-lumen LED+ outdoor light bulbs from GE check off many boxes. Light Type: LED | Watts: 15 | Usage: Outdoor | Light Color: Multicolor | Smart Features: Yes GE appears to have solved this with this latest version, where the issue was much less prevalent. Previous CYNC lights we’ve tested often dropped the connection. Besides using the app to change the lighting and set the mood, you can schedule the bulbs to turn on and off. The GE CYNC bulbs we’ve selected for this list are the Smart Outdoor Flood Light bulbs because they offer millions of color options, including a tunable white spectrum. These 1300-lumen bulbs also work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, which means you can control them using your voice via any Alexa and Nest device. The most significant plus point is that you don’t need a hub to access these features they’re all controlled on the CYNC app. There are an increasing number of light bulbs offering smart features, yet few do it as well as GE’s CYNC range. ![]() Light Type: LED | Watts: 10.5 | Usage: Indoor/Outdoor | Light Color: Daylight | Smart Features: No For example, it won't work as an exposed floodlight, but you can use it under a cover or similar. While marketed as an outdoor light, be aware that this bulb is water-resistant but not waterproof. The output is softer and more appealing than the artificial white light used on other bulbs, making this option suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The light's color more closely resembles daylight to soften the brightness and make it easier on the eyes. The bulb offers 1200 lumens but doesn't have a dimmer function. As light levels drop in the evening, the light turns on. Namely, a photocell sensor that detects light intensity at dusk and dawn. It doesn't have the smart capabilities of other lights on this list, but it contains sensors that elevate it above a standard, non-smart bulb. The Sengled Dusk to Dawn Outdoor light bulb offers standout features for a low price. Light Type: LED | Watts: 14 | Usage: Outdoor | Light Color: White | Smart Features: Yes The lower starting price of the bulb softens this blow, and if you can afford the hub, it’s worth the extra money, but this may not be for everyone’s budget. The Hue hub is available separately, and purchasing one can more than double the initial outlay. The one downside to the Philips White Outdoor bulb, and it’s quite a substantial one, is that the light’s smart features won’t work without a Philips Hue hub. These options bring versatility to the bulb in ways that non-smart and non-dimmable bulbs often fail to do.Įlsewhere, it has a weatherproof design, and Philips claims it will last up to 25,000 hours. ![]() It also offers a range of tones from cool to warm white, depending on your mood. The bulb is bright-offering up to 1300 lumens-and it’s great for ambient lighting when dimmed and floodlighting when on full beam. This app is also where you can set up automations. There is a dedicated Philips Hub app where you can manage these connections. Once connected to your network, you can control the Philips bulb using your voice when used alongside any Amazon Alexa, Google Nest, or Samsung SmartThings hub. The dimmable LED bulb combines smart features, including remote controls and automation, with durability for an affordable price. Many regard the Philips Hue outdoor light bulbs as some of the best on the market, and within this range, its White Outdoor light bulb is a top seller. The Spruce Home Improvement Review Board.

The software is really the magic here, offering different profiles for different race modes, which you guessed it, can be mapped to buttons on the wheel. ![]() Having raced a variety of racing types, from grip circuits with GT3 cars, to off-road racing in Raptors, rally in Evos and of course, drifting in R34s, I am happy to say the wheel works amazingly well for all types of racing. What isn’t present on this wheel is the clutch paddle, instead those who opt to do manual clutching would have to use the clutch pedal. For this reason, most will start with a wheel like the ES as you can race both GT and Formula-style racing, and if you really go chasing the most immersion, you would entertain buying a second. You will have to be pretty deep into the sim racing world by the time you’re prepared to spend hundreds of dollars on a wheel that often sits in the corner and waits patiently for its turn. The great thing about this setup is that you can switch to another wheel, like a Formula-style wheel in seconds, but pull forward on the quick release to remove the wheel and replace it with another. I will say the noise that you get is pretty clicky, which is noticeably sharper in pitch than the Logitech Pro, but unless you have a direct comparison (most won’t) then you’ll likely be very happy with the feel here. The shift paddles on the rear of the wheel are great, they’re really accessible and being metal gives you a satisfying response when you pull another gear. Given the amount of customisation that can be done via the Moza Pit House software, I do question the merit of actually putting physical labels on these buttons as many owners will have these buttons mapped to other functions. The large Start and Radio buttons were great, as they took a lot less muscle memory, being larger they were easy to guess your way to their positions. The wheel is 12″ in diameter and for someone with larger hands, these were easy to get to, even navigating menus with the Plus pad and ABXY were very friendly. ![]() I appreciate the reachability of these button placements, most accessible with your thumbs without removing your hands from the wheel. There are no less than 22 programmable buttons on this wheel, making it incredibly adaptable to a wide variety of racing titles. The wheel is a simple T-shape design, what’s included in the middle is anything but. The leather-wrapped wheel is a common finish and for good reason, but the angles of the grip at 3 and 9 o’clock positions, provide a comfortable, commanding position for ultimate control while driving. ![]() For those using the clamps, you’ll have angled brackets that sit between the clamps and the wheelbase to provide the best angle, however, those who bolt it directly to a sim will need to rely on the sim having adjustments that allow you to set the angle as desired.įrom the moment you clip the MOZA ES wheel into place and put your hands on it, you feel comfortable as if you’re in a sporty GT car. Once mounted, you’ll need to consider the angle of the base as this sets your wheel angle. The second option is to use mounting holes in the bottom of the base, to your racing sim, assuming your sim has the correct mounting locations. I’ve given the wheel a thorough workout and haven’t seen it move once. The base has a couple of different mounting options, the simplest is using a dual-clamp system which does a fantastic job of holding the base in place. ![]() On the back of the base, you’ll find all the connectivity, power, pedals and ports for accessories and the USB data cable that runs to your PC. The front connection offers a connection to a variety of quick-release wheels, just make sure you point the arrow up before attempting to mount and your life will be made much easier. The base itself features a matt-black aesthetic, with the Moza logo subtly adorning the sides of the base in a white font, straddling the passive cooling vents of the metal chassis. The Moza R12 Wheelbase is substantial while being efficient in its size and having switched from the Logitech Pro wheelbase, the change was significant. There’s a lot to talk about in terms of design, so let’s step through each component of the setup, and then talk about how it all works together at the end. In any case, I don't think they need to touch up on Justice Mode Attacks just yet.Īlso, people keep disapproving with changing the way you play when you're against SSJ Goku. It's kinda obvious the people suggesting some of these changes have very little experiences with high-level play, since they think a cross-up is un-blockable, to quote "Teleport Attacks are now blockable." They're mostly good only for punishing, and for converting, so I disagree with Goku being able to use them outside of Justice Mode too. They are also VERY disadvantageous on block, so when you chicken block all their Justice Mode attacks, you have a decent window to punish them when they land (with a full combo too). Due to MUGEN limitations, you don't have to block cross-ups while mid-air, so you can actually just chicken block it and you have no problems. It's just a cross-up, and it's really hard to do safely against a decent opponent because it can actually get stuffed. His teleport to the air can make stupid ambiguous cross-ups with j.B (Medium Kick), which can be completely random and hard to block.Īlso, Justice Mode Attacks are VERY easy to deal with. I suggest removing the teleport into the air variations, and making them all go to the ground. Right now it's in a decent spot since you can't whiff cancel into teleport, but I can agree with the concept of spending meter to make literally anything safe on block. Especially when he's mid-screen where it's easy to get crossed-up. My verdict is to either increase cost to 750, or increase start-up, because being able to teleport RIGHT AFTER a teleport is stupid, and can create very confusing situations for the person defending. ![]() 500 meter as a cost to NEVER commit to anything, and get so many options, is kinda absurd, but making it cost a whole meter basically kills it. I think making it cost 750 meter is a reasonable change. It's pretty easy to disagree with everything in the Teleport Rebalacing Discussion (I've read it already too). At 5 teles, no more supers can be performed. And, if he teleports 3 times, he can't do level 2 supers anymore. I think a good way to nerf SSJ Goku's teleports is to make it so he can't perform a level 3 super in the same combo that he tele'd in. Crazy, all-around the screen combo's are SSJ Goku's thing. Kyo also thinks that Justice Mode should end after 2 teleports, but I heavily disagree. But I think that if they costed a bit more of the Justice Bar, then they'd be more balanced. I agree that 500 meter isn't enough since getting 500 meter back is pretty easy for SSJ Goku, but 1000 is too much imo.Ĭombo Kyo believes that SSJ Goku's Justice Mode teleport attacks are too good, mainly due to their frame data and their high comboability. Senorfro says that teles should be 1000 meter, but I think 750 meter is a better nerf. You should read it for yourself if you want to contribute, but you don't have to. In SSJ GokuZ2's char file, there's a notepad file titled "Teleports Rebalancing Discussion", which has a lot of interesting ideas on how to rebalance SSJ Goku's teleport move. |
